ABS coding 2013 audi a3 8v

car has had ,new engine, engine ecu ,speedo and ,central electronics module( no 9)and key from same car,all these parts came from the same car which was a breaker,also has had svm performed, but has not helped abs which has 0000ect for coding and won't take any codes,i don't have original code, any help available
I have a picture of pr code from car this lot is fitted in ,the abs module is original to the car not the ecu set, and no I didnt keep abs ecu from breaker, doh!

I don't think anyone here has taken the effort to reverse-engineer the MQB ESC coding since there are a lot of variables to take into account like ACC, front assist, you name it. All the MQB sweetness you can imagine. It will probably take a good few (full) days to get the hang of it. And even then you don't have any guarantees of success. I'm managing MK60EC1 codes and ESP9.0i/8.2i codes nicely nowadays but it hasn't been a smooth trip...

I guess your best chance is SVM but somehow that got rejected? Not sure why. Perhaps it's worth having a look to see if all the VINs stored in the car (cluster, engine, gearbox) match. Maybe the gateway and some other modules in the MQB system also keep track of the VIN and they need changing as well.
Your second best chance is to somehow find that ABS module that came with the car.
Your third best chance is to hope someone found an algorithm to generate ESC long coding (or is willing to learn how to do so).

Ok, first try. This has your VIN number injected and is for 1.2 liter gasoline engine :

I modified the code so that this does not have ACC enabled anymore.

Edit :

The VIN in ABS code is now the same as you have on the autoscan WAUZZZ8VXFA071465. Is that correct or the one in the PR sticker you have the picture taken from? Because if it's the sticker that is correct, then you need to have the instrument cluster and engine ECU recoded so that they have the correct VIN number for your car.

Ok, the code is not correct for the car. That's why it's not accepting it. No need to input security code when coding ABS, it should accept.

Can you check what VIN number you have in motor ECU and in instruments? It should be in advanced info by going into the module and clicking on advanced info button. Let me know this and I'll generate a new code with proper VIN. That is most likely the reason the code is rejected. Other bytes should be fine.

Hi many thanks for the help so far ,when trying change code I get “coding rejected error 31:request out of range” I have tried 40168 as security code and 20103 ,are either of these correct ?,thanks in advance,Michael

Have you plumbed in a WSC, Importer and Tester code into VCDS under Options first? ABS modules really like this stuff to accept coding I've noticed.

Yes all those boxes have numbers on them but don’t look to be changeable

if they are populated then it should be all good. Its just if they are empty (aka VCDS Stealth Mode) sometimes it doesnt work

RT can change them if you had to, but you need to message them direct I believe...

Ok, I've used the same VIN for the ABS coding. Let me double check the coding. Just to be sure, I will also generate an ABS coding with the VIN number in the PR sticker.

I actually messed up with the previous coding, I put the VIN numbers to wrong bytes Sorry about that. Try now does it accept the coding.

Edit : Fixed byte 06, was wrong.

Another one. Based on A3 1.2 TSI manual with your VIN injected :
