Ok. I’ll check the coding again in a bit. I’ve must’ve missed something.

Hmm... Maybe OP needs to check the car again, Jack is probably correct here in his suspicion. This part in ABS errors worries me :

Code:
8290 - Coding Not Possible
          U10BC 00 [137] - -
          [FCAN: Unplausible VIN number]
MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 00000001
                    Fault Priority: 6
                    Fault Frequency: 1
                    Reset counter: 185
                    Mileage: 33402 km
                    Date: 2018.09.07
                    Time: 14:13:40

You have replaced engine, engine ecu and instrument cluster. This means the VIN number is now the donor cars VIN. It is not the same as the one in the car sticker. Now the ABS sees this incorrect VIN and it rejects it as the original VIN number must be still stored somewhere.
Why you swapped everything? If you had to change the engine why was that not enough? I think you need to adapt the engine ecu and instrument cluster VIN to the VIN number in the PR sticker to match the car.
I'm pretty sure you are in trouble in MOT if the VIN from the tester does not match the VIN on the car frame.

Does the car have electronic handbrake?

Hi the car originally came with no chiped keys,so I swapped ecu, cluster and no9 module to get it running, the abs unit is the original from the car as per or sticker, the car now has the new cars vin number in the control units only, the original car still has it’s own shell and all vin numbers present,I only changed the engine as it was complete and Undamaged plus they were both on the floor so that we could repair the front of the car ,I could if all else fails put the originals back in the car and order a new key which isn’t cheap and then have it coded but this seems extreme and expensive

OP:
What is the actual VIN number to the chassis?

Is this PR tag the actual one to vehicle?

seems that the abs is picking the original VIN from somewhere as there’s an error in abs about that.

I don’t think I saw that error in my abs before coding when I swapped the pump.

I’ll generate abs coding with your old vin just to try it.

And here goes with old VIN

Code:
13FF6A9234230A75017F030881C829C8562C5080C08194B4004100780208

And the other option :

Code:
10F16AA224230A75017F060841C82508562450806082A4B2002100080608

These with OLD VIN that is written to the sticker you posted the photo from.

But I don't think these will be accepted either as the VIN numbers are mixed up now that you have different parts in the car.

Bonus :

Just out of interest, here's the ABS coding from my car changed to Audi car model and chassis type :

OLD VIN, (WAUZZZ8V6EA039885)
Code:
13FF6A9224231175007F060841C824C856248800608224F200210070C008

NEW VIN, (WAUZZZ8VXFA071465)
Code:
13FF6A922427116D007B060641C824C856248800608224F200210070C008

Jep, Jack is correct. Engine should be CJZA for this car. Now it's CYVB. Wrong engine and ECU for the car.

Cluster I would not be that worried, it can be changed but changing it AND the other IMMO chain bits WILL be problematic.

The keys must be very expensive in UK if changing engine, ecu, instruments and BCM is a cheaper option.

Can you get the same advanced info from gateway. I think that also has the original VIN still stored and it is conflicting with the other bits.

Hmm... Also gateway seems to have the new VIN.

The ABS sees the old VIN somewhere still as it does not allow coding due to incorrect VIN number.

Sounds like someone was monkeying around with an unapproved ODIS version, huh?
