VW Transporter (T 5) 2.5 TDI: No response from controller

Hello.
After changing the clock spring on my car I was no longer able to use HEX-V2 to diagnose fault codes. When I go to Select Controle Module "No Response from Controller" pops on the display. However, when I perform Auto Scan, there are some controllers that get diagnosed, but far from all controllers. Before I changed the clock spring I was able to diagnose everything. The last time I was able to perform a proper Auto Scan, was before I upgraded the software to VCDS Release 21.9. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this problem I would be really grateful

We'll need to see both a previous Auto-Scan that showed all controllers, and a current one - please use the English version of VCDS (most of us don't speak Norwegian!) . If you're not using this already you can download from the Ross-Tech website and install it alongside any other language version you are using.

What about trying the old slip ring, or just disconnecting the new clock spring and try scanning again?

Thank you for the tip. The old slip ring was broken, due to a breakage of the wire. I have now done a scan with the new clock spring disconnected, but the result is the same as the scan I did Monday 1. Nov. Is there a chance there has been an error after updating the software? When the new clock spring is connected, the horn works. The horn did not function when the old clock spring was connected.
