SO i am still working on the evap code PO441. I decided to test the valve itself as i had seen videos of peoole testing the valves themselves. It sounds like it should hold a vacuum on the side that goes towards the engine. Mine does not. The part came from Amazon. Does that mean this part iS CRAP? Or can you not tell by just testing the valve?

I am dealing with emmission codes and i have given up om the cat issue and now focused on evap issue as i can have monitor not set

Just replaced the evap N80 but still get incorrevt flow. Does this mean the purge valve is crap or there another leak somewhere. It passes the leak test but fails and says evap is not ok

No, that's not what I said. I personally don't know how your particular purge valve works or should be tested. I simply added a link to your previous thread regarding this problem because I think it's important for people to know what car & engine this valve is on.

They all work the same way but have different sized orifice for the application.
Simply put your lips
to the cur-sed thing and pull a vacuum, if it is wide open you'll get a large leak code, if it passes a small amount the code will be a small leak. It should hold a vacuum for the readiness test to complete properly, basic settings 070 and 071. I replace so many of those things my tongue hurts from testing them.
Don't screw around with junk from Bezos purchase a real one.

I bought a bosch one so we shall see if it works. Im not very hopeful it will fix the issue but you never know
Whats bezos? Never heard of them. I bought the current one from amazon.

If this was Uwe's bar I'd say something bad about the guy.If that valve has any leakage from the vacuum side it's junk simply replace it. I've had many N80 valves that WILL pass 070/071 EVAP test but give it a few days and the check checkbook light is back on.
Mine will pass the leak test but the other test, not so much. Im not very hopeful even with the bosch part as i have read the the po441 could be other things too and the biggest mistake is replacing the n80 valvw right away. Seems to be a crap shoot code.

Yea. It fails the other test 71? Says evap not ok
Passes the leak test but not the other one
I dont have the bosch one yet.
Do you also know if this is causing issues with my secondary air system? It keep saying abort when i try to run tests for that system.
