This is what I have done so far. I have a pencil voltage tester that tells me the voltage when I touch a live wire. I unplugged the amp and I found that when I first did it I got a 12v reading off the the first pin and nothing from the second and then the power went down totally. What I found was that when I unplugged the amp, the went blank and the power cut off to all the units with the amp like DVD, radio and tv. I don't get any readings at this point, I'm guessing when it's plugged out, it cuts the power to the cable
