Are you doing to to the readii script or individual tests?

Have you attempted a recode default of controller with alternate wsc?

Please list tests and order commenced if you did force generation procedures?

Would you like to do a remote session to see if I can help with this?

@Jack@European_Parts Thank you for your continued support with my issue. I went through the various tests I found on this forum 30-46 and 70, 71, and 77. I was not aware there is an actual readiness script I can run. I have not attempted to recode the default controller. I will be testing the fuel trim levels tomorrow and will also post those numbers. If you are available for remote help, I would greatly appreciate it, please let me know if there is a fee involved. Thank you.

Hi guys,

VCDS-Lite doesn't have the Set Readiness feature so manual Basic Setting group number entry is the only option.

Have a great weekend,
Dana

So did you make readiness doing all aforementioned tests or do you need remote help still?

Sorry for the delay in my reply, been tied up with work. I did all the tests that were suggested, still the same result. @Jack@European_Parts I would appreciate a remote session if you are still up for it. Please let me know what day/time works for you, I'm in the pacific timezone.

Hi @Jack@European_Parts are you referencing this contact form on your website? I can set up a zoom meeting or google hangout if that works. The car has a full battery charge and I will be able to connect with you remotely and give you control of my pc connected to the car.

@Jack@European_Parts thank you for taking the time to do a remote test session with me last night. For others that may have similar issues with this engine, we ran the 200 block macro test and was able to get a P0420 fault on the cat. After some further testing, we discovered that the amplitude on bank 2 was high and noticed cylinder 5 and 6 running lean. Going to look for vacuum leaks and check the fuel pump regulator and lines. Will do some troubleshooting this weekend and test again.

NEIN!
INDUCED FOD STARTING!

BANK 1

NOT BANK 2!

5 & 6 SHOWED MISFIRE DURING WARM-UP 0x01-08-016

INDEED 0x01-04-200 IS SUPPORTED BY K LINE ME7 IN SOME CARS!

Test for Arthur stalled at step 19.

FORCE readiness & manual tests commence and two simulated DCY's performed resulting in force a DTC to get the car to think it was on dyno or lab environment!
Tests of interest to bifurcate the banks and qualify fuel quickly + MAF were done below with these actual results.

0x01-04-227 amplitude .89 ( result 111 P0420 Tissues needed  ) BANK 1 P0420
0X01-04-228 amplitude .03 ( not an issue, no Tissues  ) BANK 2 P0430 IF A FAULT WOULD OF BEEN PRESENT

The aforementioned screams vacuum leak or faulty injectors and a balance wire test was advised if up to qualify diagnostic stack!

Excessive heat from water flange T stat area is right beneath or in very close proximity, in addition to timing chain friction points are the reason the intake gasket + injectors suffer at the 5/6 zylinders on VR!

FYI:
In race cars.

I make a shield and supply air from a set of fans to intake banks split & to remove or block heat by air curtain.

These work well!

Same here , from my long term experience VW will never take aftermarket CAT for good. Some will hold up 6 to moths and that is most I have seen, some will never work .
ONLY Original VW CAT will work .
