Are there other retrofits on this verhicle?

Data set lets me think of wrong software instead of coding. Can you check the software of the gateway is it matches this vehicle and its component protection disabeld?

The software on the gateway are corrupted, i now this i hope this wil resolve soon i have a apointment with the vw.

Strange after this error on the instrument cluster after cuople days dont come backeven without coding anything.

Not sure if local data bus is a CANbus or LIN. If it is indeed a CANbus (wich i assume) then a fault can take days before beeing shown with diagnostic tools.

A CAN data bus has 3 states
1) Error passive, the modules can send and recieve data up to a fault rate of 128
2) When (in this instance the gateway goes bad), the counter goes to 128 the module goes in a Error Active (and saves a DTC) and wont send any more data, but still recieves it.
3) Is the Error active status still causing problems the module turns it self off in the BUS OFF mode, the BUS OFF mode will engange when the fault counter hits 256, neither the module will send or recieve data as it switches of.

I believe that this gateway goes in a sort of error Active mode, only it keeps sending data, as it is needed for the vehicle to operate. Please wait for the new software from the dealership before going futher. Also let them check the SVM of the new instument cluster

Hello Dutchie,

They have olso look in to the software version of the instrument cluster, ther is no new software.
A couple weeks ago the vw have see the error.
The have send it to the VW Teknik department and after a couple weeks the have a message.
The have make a costum firmware gateway for my car chasis so the will update this to the car.
About the error on the instrument cluster the told me somthing to do with the ABS ther i olso a TPI for i think that the mechanic say 3030 tome but i dont now that sure.
You need to upgrade the abs software to 437 this a have in my car and ther is no newer software.

So maybe it is possible that the error will go when the have update the gateway software

Hello All,

By holidays and waiting for response from the car dealership I can respond now.

We tried to program another gateway for my car.
With a new gateway there is still a error on the instrument cluster.
So the mechanic say that the error code with ther equipmet are U112300.
So when the look at this online the say somthing to do with EPS ABS Brakes (J104)
after 4 seconds the ESP send a message what cause the error, somthing like this!!
The solution is to update the ABS Brakes to the latest firmware.
And he even told me again that i have the latest firmware H75 0437.
Can anyone confirm that this is the latest firmware, i see 0457 with other id like 31 0457?
So he can not give me a solution to resolve the error on the instrument cluster.
So to pay for a new gateway and not resolving both the error is a lost of money.
So he put the old gateway back. Verry good service not paying for all of this!

Can anyone tell me about the U112300 fault code VW scan/tool equipment, and maybe a solution.

ECU is old, latest is SW 9019
Cluster is also OLD - latest is 3410

SW update is nice to do , most of the time no different after, but is nice to have

your ECU SW is 7695 , latest is 9019
etc

SW is one
HW is another one point to be compatibile
If VW have no TPI regarding issue , they not making update.

restore is not easy , that is why they dont want to offer a SW update if all is working

all other retrofit and issue after that - you on your own

Who know what VW upload durring assembly car ?
Who know the HW different?
Who know why/what new SW is for ?

they dont care your retrofits , if you have problem with something , you should order parts by VIN and you will get exactly this same what was installed in factory , and DATA upload from server will be exactly this same
All other "similar" or almost this same .... seems they not this same

Maybe you right, i have try everthing on the instrument cluster change every kind of adaptions and bits and byte.
Nothing will give a solution.

I think the problem is the instrument cluster build date.
Because i have a late 11-2012 model VW Golf 7.
And when i look at etka i think 5G0 920 870 ( 09S ) 335 - 0555 must be build in my car.

The old instrument cluster where 5G0 920 860 ( 09S ) 225 - 0555

So i want to now i have now like 50.000 km on the instrument cluster and when i found a instrument cluster bitween 50.000 km and 60.000 km.
Can i put this in my car recode online. will the extra km be a problem for working of the instrument cluster ore will the give any kind of error again.
So do i need to put the orginal km back?

if cluster have less tnan 100km , you can adjust millage to any
once you adjust millage higher than 100km - cant not be change any longer

Hello All,

I have found the problem with the error on the instrument cluster now 5 days no error
The VW mechanic was right with the ESP/ASR.

So every time before I start the car I switch off the ASR from the infotainment screen and then start the car, after that I drive the car for a while
Then a rescan the car no fault on the instrument cluster!

So I think i need to recode the ABS Brakes.
I have olso read about the programming ESP/ASR active /disabled option but I dont now.

So I want to now can I recode this fault out!
