Customer bought car with no working windows ( only 2 electric for front ). Central Convenience module no faults.
Started by checking fuses ( all good ). Took out the plugs at driver door jamb , found water ingress in middle one. Cleaned it , no joy ! Took out door panel , checked all wires for breakage , no joy . Changed the Central conv module with a used one , no joy. Went to wrecker again , got a second hand window module same code , everything working now.
The only problem left is that the button for the driver side is acting backworrds ( push to open it closes , lift to close it opens ). The button for passenger side at driver door and on the passenger door is working right. I suspect the button is bad , but the customer stated that this small problem it s no bother for now and he ll buy a new buttons pack . Good luck to him and good riddance , this is why i don t get these kinds of jobs , too much time invested ( about 2 hours and 2 trips to wrecker for a little bit of money ) but he s a repeat customer and he won t take his car somewhere else for repairs ...
