I had more issues, the car started running very rough. I ordered a higher quality coil pack. When I installed the new one I saw one of the packs had opened up and something was coming out of it. It was only three weeks old.

Are these limited edition chinesium coils? Looks like venom is starting to come out of them. I would purchase oem coils or originals then recheck.

@DPATE I'd look into the Secondary Air and O2 sensor as well. These are emissions components that aren't functioning properly. Could be a sign of a clogged exhaust, combi valve, etc., all of which could be contributing to the misfire you're seeing in VCDS, assuming it's still there after you replace the toxic coil pack.
