Because the official lable in VCDS give you not all information for the MK60EC1 you may need, i made a new lable for enthusiasts.
It contains nearly all MVB, Adapt.Ch., Basic settings & Long Coding info.

1K0-907-379-60EC1F.LBL
This lable includes the info of all different MK60EC1 versions (so it's a bit confusing)

MK60EC1_LBL.zip
This is a ZIP file that include different versions of the label and show you only the info for your MK60EC1 version (should be more easy to use)

You can copy/unzip the files to the "...\Labels\User" directory (latest LCode2.1.0 is required).

There are still some information missing or maybe not correct in the LBL.

Thanks to all who posted autoscans on the net.

Some coding info if you want replace a old MK60EC1 with a newer:

Because all MK60EC1 versions can also be replaced by newer MK60EC1 versions, i made a short list for the ABS ECU (1K0907379xx) by index to help with the sometimes different new coding.

- Index -AH, -AJ (first with 19-byte coding) is backward compatible, but
  • if old ABS had 18-byte coding you must add 2 zeros (00) at the end of the old coding

- Index -BH, -BJ is backward compatible to all previos versions, but
  • if old ABS had 18-byte coding you must add 2 zeros (00) and disable bit 7 of byte 16 (unless NIRA iTPMS should be used, because the function of this bit has changed and would prevent DDS+ iTPMS from working correct)
  • if old coding had 19-byte coding, then coding is the same

- Index -BK, -BL (19-byte coding) is backward compatible to all previos versions, but
  • if old ABS had 18-byte coding you must add 2 zeros (00) and disable bit 7 of byte 16(unless NIRA iTPMS should be used, because the function of this bit has changed and would prevent DDS+ iTPMS from working correct)
  • if car has Stopping Distance Shortening (AWV), byte 17 bit 4 function has changed and should be disabled

-Index -CC (20-byte coding) is backward compatible to all previos versions, but there are many changes in coding needed.
  • if old ABS had 18-byte coding you must add 4 zeros (0000) or 2 zeros (00) if it had 19-byte coding
  • bit 7 of byte 6 and bit 0 of byte 14 must be disabled (function is now in byte 19)
  • bit 1, 2, 3 & 4 of byte 16 must be disabled (because function is now in byte 19)
  • enable bit 7 of byte 16, if car has no MKB (Multi Collision Braking)
  • if car has Stopping Distance Shortening (AWV), and previous index is older then -BK/-BL byte 17 bit 4 function has changed and should be disabled
  • in byte 19 the iTPMS variant and the function of the ESC-button must be selected

Here is a table of all MK60EC1 versions.

 ( click 1. line ?)

 (l don't know that VAG released a official coding software, except for VAG dealer, some more info please.)
line 1st is a link to sporwagen autoscan

We will never find out what VW released internal for dealers, and engineers etc.....
I seen in a past tech drawing of ABS mk60 module, all size, holes, threads size .......etc .
this details are not for .....hmm...... "John Smith"

Update:
A nice guy in this forum provided me some official coding information of a MK60EC1(HW:46), which contains some needfull information i missed. So i updated my LBL and the coding information should be nearly complete and proper.

Here is the new LBL: 1K0-907-379-60EC1F.LBL

This is a MK60EC1 "whitelist" for the supported cars (VIN digits 7 & 8), i generared from the tables inside the SW:
Code:
1K0907379-xx
-AD,-CD,-AE,-CE,-AN,-AP 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13
-AM,-BA 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13,3T,1T
-AH,-AJ 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13,3T,1T,A3
-AS,-AT,-BC,-BD,-BE,-BG,-BH,-BJ 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13,3T,1T,A3,AT
-AR,-BK,-BL,-BM,-BR,-BS,-CA,-CB,-CC 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13,3T,1T,A3,AT,16

2K0907379-C,-D,-E & 3T0907379-C,-E 1K,8P,1P,5P,1Z,2K,1F,13,3T,1T

5C0907379-C 1K,AJ,8P,FM,1P,5P,1Z,5L,2K,1F,AH,13,3T,1T,A3,AT,16

Some information about the Steering-Angle Sensor (-G85) YES/NO setting (byte 6 bit 3 / byte 14 bit 4):

The ZF gen3 steering rack, has no real -G85 sensor inside, it's only a "virtual" (generated by the J500 control module). The sensor signals obtained in the steering from the (electric motor) rotor position sensor (every 180°) and the (hall) index-sensor are used to calculate the steering angle of the vehicle (= incremental position encoder).(SSP423 page 37-39)
Whereas cars with Hydr. Pwr steering rack [PR-1N1], APA-BS steering rack and ZF Gen 1&2 steering rack have a "real" -G85 sensor (absolute position encoder) on the steering column.(SSP317 page 17-19)
Here is a good description absolute vs incremental https://www.posital.com/en/products/absolute-encoders/absolute-vs-incremental.php

So i updated my LBL and the coding information
I took the liberty of updating your link in post #1 with the new version of the file.

@Uwe you also can edit my 1. post, because some can't find the link (and del the new link). That was the reason for the new link.

I'm confused. I updated the link in post #1 to match the one in #6 yesterday. Both links look the same to me, and both links work for me.
