try this one , but you might have to change something in the coding helper to get it right for the RHD

@JMR this Scirocco has a 2.0TSI (CAW) engine, why shoud he code for the D288mm brake if he has the D312mm? Please stop posting things where you have no knowledge, this is bullshit.

@Dcp0228 the coding of your gateway is wrong. You have no J540 (Address 53), no J793 (Address 4C) and no rear doors (Address 62). Correct this, clear all DTCs and scan again.

There are many things wrong, but your ABS coding seems to be correct. You have VCDS, start using it.

@etz2k - now listen man, i ve just about had it with your attitude and i am not willing to take it anymore. I have told you in a previous post that i am using a website which is available free for all VCDS registered users here :

https://diagnostics.vis4vag.com/.

Some users don't register with the site, be it from no knowledge of it or not having the time to do so.
I am here willing to help where possible with my little bit of knowledge and if i can help someone i am happy ! If the site calculates a wrong coding , there is no harm in trying it. I've been able to give a correct coding to few users using that site regarding mk60ec1..... SOMETIMES THE CODING IS NOT CORRECT AND IT'S NOT MY FAULT ! If a user tries it and it is incorrect , then there is no harm done. I am willing to try and help and give time from my time to this forum when it's possible. Nobody pays me for it, i do it along just like any other users, i am learning stuff , other users are learning stuff, it's called exchange of information. I believe that i've helped few users so far but sometimes I cannot know it all . . Now you can take your attitude and stuff it where the sun don't shine ..you are completely devoid of any respect towards my intentions and it's not cool. Please spare me of your know it all attitude, ok ? This is like the 3rd or 4th time where you have been a complete asshat but i just played it cool and did not say anything about it..furthermore i even mentioned your name in couple posts to have your input/experience in abs coding while giving you the credit for your knowledge. I call that respect ! Have the courtesy to extend the same respect for my intentions even it the coding provided was not correct. Please do not reply to my posts anymore, just provide your help if you can and ignore me and my advice if you are feeling that it's wrong.

@JMR you are a very friendly guy, who wants to help everyone, that is very nice. But there is a saying in germany "Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten". And i think that codings for a safety part like the ABS should not so easy posted if it doesn't fit the car. The ABS do not check all things of the code. If the vin depend digits are ok and some simple coding rules are observed, it will accept it. But this doesn't mean it fits the car. And if in a critical situation the ABS/ESP isn't working like it should can influence the healthiness of the driver and other people (the car is no track toy and the driver is not Sebastien Orgier)
@PetrolDave maybe my words are a little harsh (sorry), but if people don't think about possible negativ consequences, is what's me feeling sad. And if the posted v4v codings are not correct is not my fault.

Nice weekend guys

"Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten"
Based on your saying then this forum should be closed . We should all stick to whatever and take the car to dealerships.
My point is ...we are all here to help each other and sometimes the help is "precise "and sometimes the help "is in the area of". All i am asking is that you should refrain from 'talking down' a user and if you have something to say /help just do it without being arrogant. As i've mentioned, sometimes V4V gives correct codings and sometimes does not. I'd say about 50/50 good/bad codings , but hey...it's a work in progress on their part and a work in progress on our part.
I'd take 50/50 odds anyday over no odds being presented. Thanks, i hope you understand my point of view while i respect and i understand your point of view . We can't all be experts but from many heads comes the right answer.
As a matter of fact, since you have such a good expertise in abs coding/retrofit abs parts , you should open a paid site and provide codings for a cost , it'll bring you monetary satisfaction and at the same time perhaps even a " feel good about being able to help with correct info " satisfaction. I am sure that some users will gladly pay 5-10 USD/euros for a first correct abs/whatever system coding.
Have a nice weekend too.

@JMR please don't be so offended.
There are many things i have no clue and where i can't help and you know it much better. I only have spend a lot of time coding the MK60EC1, because i needed it for my project. My intention is to help people that also have problems with the MK60EC1 coding, as good as i can. Where did i write i wll earn money with it, please don't write so stupid things, only because you are a little bit angry. I only think that the coding for ABS should be a bit more precise than 50/50, because of the safety aspect, maybe i'm wrong and you are right. I will hold back.

I think that my suggestion for you to use your expertise and make some money outside of this forum if you so wish got lost in translation or you misintepreted what i said. I blame it either on my bad command of the english language or on your bad command of the english language though i am affraid it is the latter part of it. Anyway , i don t condone 50/50 codings , there is no such thing. If a coding is not correct it will not stick . I said that the site will give 50 /50 bad or good codings. Anyway , let s drop the matter before we both get banned from this forum.

And if the posted v4v codings are not correct is not my fault.
Nor is it the fault of JMR.

In many cases the codings provided by v4v are correct, but as no system/person/organisation is perfect they cannot be guaranteed. Even Ross-Tech's own most experienced generator of ABS codings (Dana) doesn't get it right 100% of the time. Given the way that VAG feel the need to protect the coding information it's not surprising that it can take a few attempts to get the coding right in every case.

As JMR says "If a coding is not correct it will not stick" so a wrong coding leaves the member in no better or worse a situation than they were before.

Anyway, time to return to the original subject - generating an ABS coding for Dcp0228 ...

Like i write, i don't think Dcp0228 has a problem with the ABS coding. There are so many faults in his scan that should be eleminated before searching the problem in the ABS coding.

Anyway, because we write about the MK60EC1.
As JMR says "If a coding is not correct it will not stick" so a wrong coding leaves the member in no better or worse a situation than they were before.
JMR says it, but that's unfortunately not right. I tested many things on the MK60EC1.

Please read my text.
There e ABS do not check all things of the code. If the vin depend digits are ok and some simple coding rules are observed, it will accept it.
For example, the ABS can't check if you select the correct brake system parts.
As long as you don't get in an situation where the ABS,ESC,etc becomes active you won't notice a difference. You only get an error if it check for a sensor or modul that is not available. That's also the problem if you want to find out which Byte/Bit has which function. Very often you get no DTC because it's a "intern" function.
In the next days i try to post my LBL, with the things i find out. I hope WE can sort some uncertainties out, because not all seems PR-CODE related or i only don't see the correlation. The coding is also different with other ABS SW/HW version.

If the vin depend digits are ok and some simple coding rules are observed, it will accept it
OK this is my last post in this thread as IT"S GOING TOO FAR OFF TOPIC AND NOT HELPING Dcp0228 with his Scirocco.

If we accept that the quote above is correct then generating coding for the MK60EC1 should be fairly simple, but even a cursory glance on this forum will show that is not the case as almost every thread asking for MK60EC1 coding needs multiple attempts to get a coding that is accepted.

In the next days i try to post my LBL, with the things i find out.
I'm sure we all look forward to you sharing your findings with the community, especially if it results in a 'right first time' generation of MK60EC1 codings.

Sharing helps everyone, some of the language in earlier posts in this thread does not help anyone. Let's ALL move on...

JMR says it, but that's unfortunately not right.
I concur. Just because the module accepts a coding and doesn't complain that it's incorrectly coded doesn't mean that coding is correct for the module -- and that assumes the module is correct for the car.

Then we get into further complications with people throwing some random, used MK60EC1 from the scrap yard into their car with no regard for whether that module is appropriate for their car or not.

It sure would be nice if VW was more open with info. Give us a website that accepts a VIN and tells us what ABS module part numbers are appropriate and what the coding should be for that car. This wouldn't be difficult for them to do.

So..i shouldn't try and provide anymore codings by v4v ? Or should pe.provided with a disclaimer ? Whatever you feel it s right..i ll abide by it.

I think a disclaimer would be appropriate.

VAG is not nice and open !;)
My Cousin is working for a company group which made and test prototyp cars for VAG (Golf GTI W12), but with the MK60EC1 he can't help me, because today everything is only online with access rights and every access will be registerd, he says.

Yes, I am painfully aware of this. They give us only what they think they absolutely have to. :(

Very good source of information, using translator.
It also includes LBL file but in Russian.
