How long does this Basic test run for when select this?

Customer got 4 second-hand injectors but diesel knock when accelerating.
I was able to recode the injectors in Adaptions.
Then tried this IDE006141 but this been going on over an hour.
Does this test take this long?

How long does this Basic test run for when select this?
I don't know; I've never done that.

But one problem with installing used injectors is: When you "code" them in (using Adaptation) the ECU assumes they are brand-spanking new and have no wear. Injectors do wear, and the ECU compensates for this over time.

Update, Injectors change and running very rought with diesel knocks.
Adapted injector coding, made no different
then I carried out IDE06141 in Basic setting.
This procedure run for 75 minutes before compled, ir vever said, successful or aborted.
I ended it after 20 minutes idle.
Took car doe dive and check next moring, it is running sweet and no rought idle or diesel knocking.

Different software part numbers, different ASAM Dataset in the ECU software.

And it looks like IDE06141 is indeed no longer present as a Basic setting in the data for the newer ECU.

Just an aside re using IDE06141 adaptation, it seems that this function will run even if security access is not input correctly. The sub-routine will ask you to hold brake then depress throttle and it will perform RPM changes and throttle blips etc it will run infinitely also the glow light will not flash.
If you cycle ignition wait 30sec, start engine and idle, establish comms, select security access & input code, select basic setting IDE06141 hit run and it will prompt you to depress clutch & realese, hold brake, depress throttle and away the routine run's you can leave the car it takes about 5 mins to complete.
Over-fueling issue I had with replacement injector sorted and quantities all within tight range.

Hi Denis, I have tried using the IDE06141 injector adaption with my VW Golf Mk6 1.6TDi (2012) after changing a defective injector (cylinder 2). I got the program to run as in your 2nd attempt but it appears to stick at 'Running 1 -' and goes no further (20 mins and nothing happens). When you got to this to work did you see any screen updates during the 5 mins or a message at the end to say it was complete? I'm having no luck with this - my injector balance looks out,

I still haven't managed to get this routine to work yet. When it start does the revving of the engine start immediately or does it take some time before the 3000RPM blips on the throttle commence? I waited 20 mins and nothing was happening so I stopped
