Oil change and air filters on a Veyron W16.

The oil change I kind of expected to be complex, with the dry sump system. Sixteen drain plugs. I was underwhelmed by the oil filter, given the flow rate this thing must need. I wonder if it's on a partial bypass system?

Those air filters though. Gargantuan. And the old ones were suction-deformed without having been all that clogged. That thing moves air.

That will be German engineering there, nothing simple what so ever with a VW. I am sure Audi’s vos sprung technique actually means make everything as difficult as possible to get to.

"I'm gonna do a re-adaptation of the spoiler..."

Hmm, I wonder which tool they used for that? I hope so. :)

8 litres of displacement times 7000/60 (revs per second) times 2,2 bar but divided by two (one inlet stroke per two cycles) makes about 1000 litres of air per second. one cubic metre.

They seem to be using some Snap On box there?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Look here:

They have at least 10 cars that would work with our tool ;)

Maybe Santos and I visit them in Vegas and show them how much better VCDS is than the 'other' tools and they do not even have to select a '2008 Volkswagen Touareg 2' to do a proper Auto-Scan. ;)
