VW t5 06 - sliding electric door

Hello,
my problem is sliding electric door.
In the morning left and right door dead.
No light on the dashboard, and no response from the doors.
In the afternoon I've opened my T5: all seats, and rear door (left&right) panel and luggage panel (rear&left).
I exchange the door control unit (7H0 959 243G year 2005 maybe dead) with the right one (7H0 959 243L year 2012).
Now the RIGHT door with the newer control unit is OK, open, close, perfectly and right light on dashboard.
The LEFT door, with the newer or older control unit is always KO, no light on dashboard for her.

What fault codes do you have?

ive not scanned it, my cable only has a licence for the touareg. its going in this week for a mirror repair which requires coding, ill get them to scan it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "only has a licence for the touareg". You do not need to use a VIN to scan another vehicle for fault codes.
