Fatigue Detector on Jetta MK6

Hello all!

I'm Felipe, member a Jetta Club in Brazil and owner a Jetta TSI 2010/11.

We trying to retrofitting the fatigue detector on Jetta Mk6.

I got the information if this is available in some forums, but I cant do it works.

I do the upgrade of my Can Gateway to a final AJ and my cluster (final 873) support that function , because the option "pause recommendation" is ON.

Anybody can help me with codes or parts needed to do this upgrade works?

Does can gateway have correct index AJ z01. Unless it has z01 or similar it won't work. Ie. z00, doesn't have this function.

Yes, i know that information. The option on the adaptation (channel 5) works, set to "ON", but when i try to test the signal, the message "function not supported by control module" is showed.

I try with CANGateway bought in CarSystems final AJ and with MKE (abreviation in germany for fatigue detection). I believe that information of "function not supported" refeer to another control module, not the CAN Gateway...


My doubt is about which are the necessary modules to this function works. I know we need a CAN (z01) and the cluster 872 (or high), with "pause reccomendation" avaible but which are the another module controls?

Was this feature avaliable to 2010/11 Jetta's ? Is this option listed in your owner's manual? If it is not it is highly unlikely that it will work
DAS (Driver Alert System) also monitors information from your steering wheel angle sensor which I think is module #4? or part of #44. Your autoscan shows an error in your #3 ABS controller which may be affecting it's functionality. The steering wheel module may not be compatible and support this function

Cannot remmember off hand but you can test the functionality of DAS on the MFD display when recoding the CANbus #19 module

You have a number of errors in your CANbus gateway, was module 76? installed prior to you replacing your gate way or module 10?
Do you have a highline reverse camera with moving lines if not untick it inthe installation list (module 6C?) and make sure module 61 is ticked

Hello Bambazonke!

In my owner's manual don´t have a information about DAS.
I try test the funcionality in Canbus #19 and the information is "function not supported bt control module" . But it's the question... witch control module? rsrs
The Can and Cluster supports that. Maybe the #44 don't... Can you tell me our #44 part number?

the errors on the Can are cleared. And the error in #3 is a J500 module... And i dont have any idea how solve this...

fatigue detection can be fix via Flashing gateway to AN and Upload some "hidden" configuration. Unfortunatelly VCDS is not able to do both.
I have already AJ Gateway with fatigue Detection.

I also have a 'AN' can gateway which gives break recommendation in the assistant menu.
