Just went to check this car and I was not able to read more then half of modules. Thought it was my interface, but another one had same problem. Address 46 not available no response from controller . Is this a known issue with newer cars?

Are you using the beta VCDS 16.3.1 which should work with the new Q7 (4M) - or are you using VCDS 15.7.4 which doesn't support the new Q7 (4M) ??

Just installed 16.3.1 and Gateway is now accessible, however CV2 at 46 still not available. With ODIS I have full accessibility to 46.

I don't see 46 in the Gateway list. Sometimes ODIS uses different address numbers compared to VCDS. What is the part number of the controller you can read with ODIS?

Yes there is no 46 in gateway but module exist. I will try to get car back to me for more testing as it's Saturday and customer had to go.

On display it have message Engine start error , yellow triangle and key icon. However car start and runs up to 3000rpm. Little confusing do.......and in 46 is key data stored , so there is 46 definitively. I will post HW number soon

I asked local dealer to give me part number by VIN number.......fastest way for HW number . Or remove rear right panel in trunk and read it

It won't work with the Beta either. This uses a new type of CAN addressing and I'm hopeful we'll have this working with the HEX-NET soon after we get a hold of a 2017 A4 here. No promise at all with the HEX+CAN.

Thanks Eric, Uwe alluded to that also. I have the Hex-Net interface with latest firmware and a Q7 4M, so if its any benefit and you want a remote session etc to connect to look around, then please ask.
