Hex-Net Beeping and flashing three red lights

I'm trying to use my Hex-Net, but the mobile app on my iPhone and iPad keep stating that my password is incorrect. I have them both saved to remember the password and they log in automatically. I've unplugged the hex-net and tried to use it again, but it's beeping and flashing three red lights.

Is it plugged into a vehicle when this happens? That could indicate a kline is stuck. Can you access VCDS-Mobile while it is in this state?

I held in the red button and reset the password. I can access it now, but when I plugged it in again the red lights flashed and beeped 5 times. I ran the firmware update after resetting the password.

What's the behavior when you power it from the USB side? Pretty much any USB power source will do for this.

I'll check it today. What would cause the password to do that? I never changed it.
