I have a 2010 VW CC. Here's the deal...I bought the car as a flood vehicle. The shop that sold me the car put everything together so I'm not completely sure about all that was done.
Anyway I was originally having (and still am) issues with the DSG. No issues after I first bought the car but then months later it started bucking when I came to a stop. Shortly thereafter I was coming home after the car sat for several hours and I got a transmission overheat warning. I read about the G509 sensor so I changed it out and all was good for a short time. However the problem soon reappeared...bucking when shifting into or out of D, then the overheat warning and being stranded
I just got VAGCOM and started looking into what the heck was going on. After speaking with one of the techs at Ross-Tech I was advised that the sensor might have been a bad part. I was seeing the G509 sensor go to 200C which was triggering the overheat warning. So, I put another sensor in the car and the overheat is now fixed. However the bucking issue is still there. I have now twice done the adaptation to no avail. While monitoring the Valve Current and Main Pressure-Valve current 1 and 2 I found that when shifting into D the values jump all over the place while it is bucking...the values finally settle down and the bucking stops. This also happens when shifting out of D and into N or P. I'm thinking mechatronic...not sure but I think it might be connected to the other issues.
The other issues are that I am now getting a lot of other random faults. Here's the scan
So, I'm thinking there's something going on electrically that is causing all of this. I did just do an LED light install so that might be the reason for the interior light fault but I bought them from a reputable shop and they aren't supposed to trip any codes. The engine fault happened after the G509 install and the rest of the codes did as well. Maybe I bumped something but I noticed the main harness that leads into the cabin from the engine bay is loose and can easily be moved with my hand.
What I'm trying to figure out is how all of the modules communicate. If the J533 is where everything comes together maybe there is something going on there or maybe it's something completely different. I've checked all the grounds (to include removing the wires, cleaning them and reinstalling) so I don't think that's the issue...
If anyone has anything to contribute and can maybe get me on the right path I'd appreciate it. I'm not afraid to tear the dash apart if need be but I don't want to do that if there's nothing to be found there...
