Volkswagen Up! TPMS fault - Won't calibrate?

Hello All, new to the forum and new to using VCDS.

We've got a 2015 Volkswagen Up! with TPMS fault.

Do the usual reset button, drive it 2-3 days and warning light comes on.

Any ideas? I thought they are not driving it for long enough to allow calibration to complete (old couple). I have just driven it 15 miles and given it back for them to try.
Otherwise, we have reset this fault code 3 times now and keeps coming back on.

This TPMS is based on ABS wheel speed sensors, so have you checked that all 4 wheels/tyres are correctly inflated, are identical and have similar tyre tread depth?

I worked for Skoda around this time and I recall there being a software update on citigo model which is the same as the up unsure what was changed in the s/ware update

Checked tyre pressures each time and them reset system with button in car. Then cleared fault code with VCDS. Fault comes back approx 2-3 days later.

Car only done 8,000 miles. Still has original tyres on, all with good even, matched, tread.

I was thinking software, but getting any sense out of the dealer these days is impossible. Younger generation not interested in helping and getting past reception is a mission.
We had an UP! with poor radio reception. Common fault and car under warranty.
Had to wait 2 weeks for booking and they had car for 8 days to replace aerial cable and base.

Out of interested, scanned car with snap-on modis edge and code: C1146FO - tire pressure indicator, calibration incomplete.

On the Vw polo 2015 TPM is calibrated this way :
Drive Max 20 km/H Press reset, car gives gong Sound When calibrated.
?? Dont know if its the same procedure with Vw Up :-)

Just to clear up this thread. Since Resetting and driving the car 10 miles before returning to customer, there has been no problems or light issues.

So if you have a customer who only drives 1 mile each way to the shops, a couple of times a week. You may need to drive the car to calibrate it after resetting TPMS.

On my Golf you if you change the tyre pressures or swap wheels. You turn the ignition on and press the SET button in the glovebox it beeps, no need to drive the car.

I thought later VW's didn't have a SET button for indirect TPMS you have to go to a dealer to have it re-calibrated. This is a totally stupid idea. Or use VCDS.
