Hey Guys, I used to work at another shop and while I was there I bought myself a Vag-com Cable from Ross-Tech, and when I set it up I put the shops name in my vag-com so when I print off the auto scan codes it would have their name on top of the page. I no longer work for them and I would like to remove their name, but when I go into options that part is greyed out and I cant change or erase it.

Is there anything I can do, or am I just stuck with that shop's name on my Vag-com auto scan printout?

It's in VCDS.CFG. Just delete that file, then do [Options] -> [Test] -> [Save] and you'll have a nice new clean one.

In the folder that you have VCDS installed in.

The File in the VCDS folder is called VCDS.CFG. Delete the file. Then open VCDS and plug into a car. Then click [Options] [Test]. This will generate a new VCDS.CFG without the shop name.

Or just click vcds car icon at the top / left corner of vcds window, click [Delete config file and close].
