Registered to hopefully help contribute to MIB II Retrofitting into A5 platform cars. I have a 2007 Eos VR6 that currently has an RCD330G+ and have a Scirocco facelift steering wheel and climatronic on the way. My friend works at a VW shop and has VCDS HEX+CAN that I currently use as I need it. I'll be purchasing my own unit here soon enough, just have other expenses at the moment!

I'd like to figure out more about the possible MFD integration and a few more kinks I haven't worked out yet. (Like the fact I can still connect to bluetooth long after the car is off and locked, but I have no battery drain?)

Anything I can do to contribute I gladly will!

I'm also working on trying to figure out which Mk7 style climatronic panel I need for my car. The Eos is a weird step-child in the VW famliy. I'm not sure if I need Auto-recirc or if I need a non auto-recirc. I'd prefer the non auto-recirc as I like the look of the buttons much more! I'll grab the auto-scan from my laptop once I get back from Carlilse Import.

Uwe, which version do I need of the Hex-Net? Pro or Enthusiast? I'll need unlimited vehicle use as we have 5 HEX or CAN cars right now as a family lol. I plan to add a couple more so I'm assuming Pro? My friend has the old HEX-CAN USB which can do unlimited VINs, but they are NLA. Ready to order today as I have a battery drain issue I need to track down. 90% sure it's the head unit and can gateway. Car has been parked for 2 weeks. Excited to play with the mobile version too.

Bought a 3 vin Hex-net to get me by for now! Got the battery drain sorted, now to solve steering wheel controls and MFD functionality with the RCD330G+ anything I can provide to help? The unit shows up in VCDS, but in long coding all the checkboxes are blank and most don't seem to make any noticeable changes lol.

I've also discovered a "immobilizer" fault code from long before I bought the car. I'm at work and don't have the auto-scan with me, but will post when I get home!

Here ya go, I know about the TPMS, if there is a smarter way to turn off the notifications let me know. None of the sensors worked. :banghead: Probably dead batteries, but the wheels on it now are from my Mk7 which do not have direct tpms. From my understanding the TPMS not being coded is what causes the gateway error. My prior scan before disabling TPMS did not have a gateway error.
