I went to update my Hex-Net firmware but I can't remember the password and the one I thought I'd saved in 1Password doesn't work. So what do I do now? :(

With it powered up, press and hold the button on the interface for (IIRC) 15 seconds, then release. This should revert the password back to its default.

Are you referring to the red button on the HN mobile? I also forgot my password in infrastructure mode for profile#3.

Can you lock the HN mobile if you type in so many passwords?

Can I just use another profile to log-in into infrastructure mode?

The password the HEX-NET needs to access a particular network in infrastructure mode is your router's password. We have no control over that.

It's not my router or network password that I am referring to. The password I am referring to is after using the new IP address to access the VCDS mobile in infrastructure mode. Is it the same password as in AP mode? Coz I do not remember creating a new one.

Yes, it is the same in both modes.

That's what I thought so too but I can't log-in yesterday and tried some other passwords. Not sure if got locked-out. I'll it again today.

Try power cycling the HN and then logging in.
Worst case you can always reset it with the red button.

Dumb question, but you're sure it's the HN you're logging in to ?
The IP address normally won't be 192.168.0.1 in infrastructure mode.

I was able to log in yesterday. I guess the connection was so slow (infrastructure mode) and I was a little bit impatient that I thought the HN was not accepting my password. But everything is ok now. ;)

Thank you.
