My $0.02...

In a different place to where anyone else has hidden it, and certainly not in a place suggested on a public forum - otherwise it's no longer a "hidden" switch!

What ever you intend to kill , make sure that you use quality solution so there can't be accidental "kill" while overtaking someone.......or simply pay insurance and stay safe and without worries.......

Hello,

Where is the best place to hide kill switch on Audi TT turbo Quattro 2002

- I would consider a place inside the vehicle where you would have to reach to get to if you were sitting in the drivers seat.

- Some one looking for a kill switch will usually start looking within arms reach or in their field of view.
(Most thieves are in a rush, lazy and looking for an easy target)

- You could get creative and make it a two or more part kill switch system, for example:

1) move passenger seat forward to activate the 1st micro switch (relay ground)
2) turn on interior light to complete circuit to the kill relay (positive)
Start vehicle...

Be creative think out side the box.. ;) Like make an fake (sort of hidden) kill switch that activates the alarm horn and lights ... lol

Hope this helps,

drpeter

A customer of mine has a dune buggy with a magnetic starter relay/switch. Since it has no doors and he goes to the beach a lot he doesn't need or want a key. When he wants to start the vehicle just he swipes a magnet over the hidden magnetic switch. It energizes the relay, powers ignition, then you push the start button. The switch is hidden behind fiberglass and you would never suspect there was anything there. Its a very small rare earth magnet. He usually just keeps it stuck to something in the car. You could easily hide something like that behind the dash or center console. Its slick. It works like this thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msBzJSy69As
