I'm looking for some assistance troubleshooting an issue with my car. The car was taken for an MOT on Wednesday morning. In the afternoon, the garage informed me that the car had passed, but the technician encountered a problem after returning from lunch. When he tried to move the car, multiple dashboard lights were activated, and the steering became heavy.
I have owned the car for two years, and the only persistent fault has been a rear left bass speaker open circuit, which seems unrelated to this issue.
This problem is persistent, and there has been no change in behavior since I retrieved the car from the garage. The dashboard lights now include the RED Power Steering, Traction Control, Engine, Headlight Range, and the Parking Sensors are flashing.
I am unable to access the Steering Assist module using VCDS under any circumstances. It appears other errors may be related to the Gateway's inability to communicate with this module.
The battery, a 2-year-old VARTA AGM, appears to be strong, but I will charge it tonight to eliminate any potential voltage drop issues.
My next step is to locate a wiring diagram and check the relevant relays. I need guidance on where to look next and how to find the relevant diagrams or technical manuals.

- Checked the battery voltage: 12.4V idle and 14V running. The lowest voltage recorded was 11.9V during the ABS error. I plan to charge the battery overnight in my house.
- Ensured the chassis ground is tight and has a good connection.
- Inspected the engine bay fuses.
- Driven several miles, performing left and right turns.
- Disconnected the battery for a few hours.
