NEW 2015 VW Passat Limited 1.8 TSI 6AT - Fault Codes

Hello. New to this forum.

The car is one week old and I show a few weird codes. I made the typical changes (DRL, Alarm, comfort blinking) but I must have clicked on something and messed thing up.
I have an original scan with no fault codes and the scan I am attaching here with the fault codes. Any help is welcomed.

A majority of the controllers in this car aren't communicating in the scan above and we suspect that's due to VMWare. Details about the machine have VCDS installed on would be helpful if you aren't using a virtualized environment.

The BCM appears to be incorrectly coded for direct TPMS but post the original configuration Auto-Scan and the coding log if you need further assistance.

Yeah, you really want ALL of the controllers in this car to communicate so save another complete scan at that point.

In the meanwhile this vehicle has Indirect (ABS based) TPMS so change the 09-BCM coding (Byte 8/Bit 7) back to the original value, meaning disabled.

After Hex 08 is the current value in Byte 8 again; Address #65 should disappear, #19 should quit complaining about being incorrectly coded and the factory Indirect TPMS should work - however you may want to check the tires and reset the system using the button inside the car.

I made the changes you suggested and even though I unchecked the TPMS in Byte 8 and unchecked "65" module, it still shows up in the scan.

I am doing a clean bootcamp install on another computer to get a "real" scan to you guys.

Ahh yeah, looks like Jef and I replied with the same suggestion. That happens when we're on the phone and have a draft brewing for a while

If 65 is still shown I suspect the controller refused the new coding so try again with Bootcamp.

In your first post, TPMS is "tagged" in two places. Address 09, Central Electronics (J519) has TPMS in the coding, Byte 8, Bit 7. The second location that TPMS is "tagged" is Address 19, CAN Gateway, (J533).

Go to the CAN Gateway control module, address 19, and then go into the [Installation List]. Make sure "65-Tire Pressure" is unchecked and save coding.
