I have a problem with the test tone not working in the C0 Ext. Noise module using Ross-Tech VCDS. I get error message saying “Refused By Control Module”. I am getting this same error message when testing other modules.
I have tried to power cycle car per Jef’s instructions and still getting same error.
Using an “ODBeleven” running test tone C0 Ext. Noise module the test tones work. I was able to select two different tones, one high and one low frequency at two different volume levels and are very audible.
In coding C0 module, “04” setting I found from old scan report and tried also now after using VCDS Code Helper “06” is used. Both code settings seen to work the best and seem to be identical from what I can tell. Other code options which I tried as results from Code Helper Experimental mode: Warning on dashboard display, Caution: sound module not working etc. and Warning Triangle happen.
I was thinking since there are different volume levels for the test tones using ODBeleven, is it possible to code different volume levels for the default operation of the C0 Ext. Noise module?
Also is it possible to see Live Data other than Excel Spread Sheet? I am wanting to see HV Drive Battery Temperatures on long drives and needing to use DC Fast Charging to be assured I am not overheating the Drive Battery?
