Reductant-system fault on Output Module 1

I´m trying to solve a problem with the Reductant-system.

I get fault on Output Module 1, i have measured the heaters both resistance and power when giving them 12v and everything looks good. I have changed the one on output 1 to be sure, i have checked the main b+ in the wires and when i do output test, i get signal to the control unit and it gives out signal to both heaters. Put when i start the car i get the same fault. So i cant find any problems, and everything works when doing output test, when not when i start the car. What have i missed? I can´t find any TPI on the problem. Something is wrong...

Yes JMR, the temp goes up and down. Down to -20 - 25`C in winter and up to +33`C in summer.

Now it´s around 8-14`C,

So when the heaters go bad, we can´t just remove them. It´s strange like this no fault but does not work.

The scan that is in the top, is the last one after i changed the tank. If i clear the fault memory everything goes away. Then if i start the car they are there again.
If i clear it again if seams okey, but if i preform a output test, everything looks okey, and when i start the car it comes again.

There's definitely something strange with the reductant tank temperature sensing - sensor, wiring, connectors,... ?

Now i have tried with another wiring loom from the connector from the floor down around the tank, and same result.

I´m looking on the documents for the temp sensor, can only find "tank sender" with "Reducing agent quality sensor". The temp sensor should be together in that sender i think, does anyone know if it´s lin-bus or something other in the cable. I have positiv and negativ and a green wire with something?.

In SSP424 the temp sender is marked as G685, but in the schematic i have no G685

I get it as "G684-Tank sender for reducing agent" so in the SSP it must be a typing error. Have you checked fuse SB13 and that the relay is working?

Yes i have checked fuse SB13, yesterday i had another car with same engine and adblue system. And no fault codes. And when i checked the temp that was 0`C to. So that is not the problem. And if i disconnect the cable i get fault code on tank level sensor och quality. I can´t find any problems there...

No i have not, but when i turn on the ignition. I have battery voltage and a flow of current at the connector.

Fault's freeze frame data is a bit strange.

Missing exhaust temperature from exhaust upstream sensors S1, S2, S3
Tank temperature 0.0 C
Heating circuit currents are (a) quite high for outside temperatures above freezing point and especially (b) engine not running.

Below a snippet from a MY18 CXHA engine - though with DSG thus running different software.

Hello VWT6!

In the other car that is working with same engine and same adblue tank i did not have the S1 S2 S3 Values and not temp for tank, so that seems normal.

But in my own VW T6 i have the values for both S1 to S4 and tank temp. So it looks to be a diffrents between the cars.

I will do a blockmap tomorrow, or later today.

If i try to look on the data on the green wire from the tank to the ecu. Does anyone know what i should expect? And how does it measure how much power it uses, "Heating circuit currents are (a) quite high for outside temperatures"...

If the ecu read the power consumption wrong, and give the error code from that? I don´t se any power shunt inside J891!
