Audi TT 8J Windshield Washer Pump Fault 00156

Hi All,
I would like to ask for help in trying to fix the following problem.
Windshield washer pump stopped working. Car is a 2006 R32 MK2 coupé.
Initially I had two errors, one related to the pump itself and the other to the control circuit.
After replacing the pump, the control circuit fault code is still present and the pump does not activate as I pull the stalk. The relay does not click although it is perfectly functional.

The error code I still have is the following:

1 Fault Found:
00156 - Control Circuit for Windshield Washer Pump
009 - Open or Short to Ground
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 01101001
Fault Priority: 3
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 125
Mileage: 152753 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2022.09.23
Time: 19:27:00

Freeze Frame:
ON
Voltage: 14.25 V

I tried to erase it, but it pops up again. Fuses, connectors, and cables (as far as I was able to inspect) seem ok.

Attached is the auto-scan result.

Module 01-Engine returns "Status: Malfunction 0010" but when scanning it independently the module can be reached and no error occurs.

Removed.  Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not acceptable in Ross-Tech's forum.
