Hello

I've an Allroad 2.7t -04 and I've fault code "P0131 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Signal too Low". Is it a bad sensor? I've checked the resistance at the sensor connector and it's 10 ohms so that's fine. The wires from the ECU to the sensor seems fine.

I logged this in VCDS. Don't know if that tells you something. Yes, this was last year but it's still the same:

So reading that link you gave me and looking at the numbers, I might have a vakuum leak somewhere? But is that related to the fault code? I also have misfires on Cyl 4 but the plug and ignition coil are fine. I've swithced them around and checked. There's no code on this. I checked the measuring blocks in VCDS. It also appears that it's only noticable when idling, not when driving. Could these 2 things be related?

At idle usually indicative of smaller intake leak as under larger throttle opening small leak is insignificant at speeds.

Could swap sensors as a test if they are the same but would spray intake in all areas while at idle and see if numbers change on bank 1. What to use there are various opinions such as WD40.

The miss is either from a small isolated multiplicative vacuum leak, carbon build up, weak cylinder ( check compression ), burned valve, bad injector spray pattern at idle ( most likely ), bad ground to coil pack or trigger or B+ connectivity issue.

OXS sensor might just be plain contaminated with carbon deposits or bad.

Thanks for all the answers. Looks like there could be many things. I'll start by doing a compression test tomorrow and go from there
