also put the Transaction ID and finalized the registration...

However, when doing the dongle test it says status questionable and the 'about' screen stills says I'm unregistered...

Nope, was trying to get the dongle fully working before I plugged it in ;-)

Hmm, scratching my head here.

Our server thinks its registered.

Have you tried rebooting the interface? That means removing it from all power (USB and the car) for at least 10 seconds.

Tell us about your computer too, please. Make, Model, CPU, RAM, version of Windows.

Since I can now post in this forum will put my questions here instead of the 'how to get verified'

Connected to the car...

Doing the test under options, the dongle now says ready when connected to the car (Passat B8)

BUT ???
In the about screen I'm still unregistered...
+
When trying to autoscan it says 'Function not supported by Gateway'

So I can't do anything right now :-(

How many codes are loaded in VCDS? (displayed in the top right of the main screen)

Did remove all power from the dongle (USB and disconnect from car) -> no result

Can you give us screen-shots please, both of [Options] -> [Test] with it plugged into a car, and the About screen?

And please confirm that you don't get any error messages when starting VCDS itself.

I think we understand the problem now.

Interface is registered to you, but VCDS isn't seeing the license correctly....

Can you try to access 19-CAN Gateway directly please, and grab us the Advanced ID info?

Would you mind posting the VIN and do you have another VW/Audi family vehicle handy that uses CAN for diagnostics that you can test on? We can work with you to correct the VIN limits if you need to add a car you wouldn't normally scan after we figure out what the issue is.

I would also try to scan it while running at idle to rule out a voltage issue.
