Hex-can or hex-net??????

Is the Hex-Net better then the Hex-Can I'm looking at purchasing one that has no vehicle restrictions as I read not possible with certain chassis years (hex-can) just want to plan for the future

At this point, I would call the HEX-NET more future proof. It's also faster on modern cars, and of course it has WiFi and VCDS-Mobile in addition to it's utility as a USB interface for VCDS. That said, the HEX+CAN well-proven, more mature technology and is less expensive.
