I am currently running the latest version of software from the site, however when I scan the car the label redirect fails for the engine.

Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
Part No SW: 4E0 910 552 HW: 4E0 907 552
Component: 5.2L V10/4V FSI ™0060
Revision: 5AH11--- Serial number: AUX3Z0F8307595
Coding: 01060003190F0160
Shop #: WSC 00586 210 91538
VCID: 5FCD4C658E49DCD9375-800A

I looked through the label folders and the file 4E-01 says I need the following files which are missing

07L-910-552-BSM1.CLB
07L-910-552-BSM2.CLB
07L-910-552-BSM3.CLB

does anyone have these so I can add them to my installation?

Thanks

Del

Looks like these are only available in German at the moment.

Would it be possible to have the german version in a lbl format so i could go through it and translate it to english?

I also stumbled across a post on a Russian website that showed they had the label file.

There are political complications involved, which can't be resolved right at the moment.

Is there something in particular that you're looking to monitor? Maybe I can help you find it?

What could you possibly mean by that? The car in question has been in the wild since 2006, ended production in 2010 what plausible reason could there be for not having an english label file when there is a german and russian versions of it.

To me it looks like its be lost by the way side in the various releases of the software and because its and old car with small production numbers there's not much point in keeping it updated. of course that could just be me being cynical ;)

The V10 engine's not exactly new, its in the s6, s8, r8 and rs6 in various iterations, but there is label files for the rs6 and r8

Coincidentally I wanted to use adv measuring blocks hence the need of label files so out of need i copied and renamed the label files for the r8 to match the s8 filenames and it appears to work, as to the data correctness i couldn't say but it looks ok.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it.

I didn't go through these to compare that dual ECU 5.2L FSI to the R8 flavor but it might not hurt for you to try redirecting (or renaming):

07L-910-552-BUJ1.clb
07L-910-552-BUJ2.clb
07L-910-552-BUJ3.clb

I'm sure there is a reason the files are separate ... but most of the lower group numbers are standardized.

Edit, :-) I had that draft saved while I was on a tech call ...and you already redirected.

Thank you Dana, I wasn't sure if doing what I did was a good thing or not but I feel more relaxed now that you were thinking the same thing.

Cheers
