hello i have some problems with retrofiting headlights,i have both headlight range control unit but cant code it.error 22,and i cant found security acces code for this module.can anyone help me what is wrong?high beams and cornering light doesnt work,all over light working correctly.

power from C box

and power from B box from relay?

but high beam must work its coding BCM , no need coding AFS unit for this ?

we have 11 pins used in 14pin conector

1-can high
2-can low
5-ground
6-low beam
7-ground
8- "+" from fuse box 5A
9- "+" from fuse box 15A
10- ground
11- drl/side marker
12-drl-side marker
13-turn signal

no more pins for high beam

so its working via afs module i think

Yeah I don't like the No EOL programming either but that doesn't look like a 7P VW Touareg so I'm concerned this is a new A3.

Are you comparing a full LED scan (with 4 slaves) to a retrofitted Xenon system (2 slaves)? Please post the Auto-Scan and part numbers of the components you purchased/installed from the VW/Audi Dealer.

yes lala30 i have change values in adaptation,my low beam,turn signal,drl and diming working correctly,i have problems only with high beam and cornering light wich are managed by 55 module

I am doing the same retrofit.

As you know, the high beam and cornering lights will not work until the coding is correct. However, given the problems you're having with not being able to code the AFS module, it sounds like it may be related to the AFS module or the gateway. I was told that the B version (7P6907357B) was suitable for my A3. Regarding the gateway, I can tell you that the part number listed on partslink24.com for an A3 with full LED is 5Q0907530Q.

How did you confirm that CAN is properly connected? In the original wiring, there are four wires that connect to the headlamp range control module: pin 1 (yellow/green), pin 2 (green/brown), pin 3 (green/grey), pin 4 (green black). So, which wires did you use to connect to the CAN?

Regarding wiring? I saw your post:

But, I have some questions:
1) Does your light switch control the headlight functions (Parking light, DRL, low beam, turn signal)?
2) Pin 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 all require power. The original wiring only powers pins 6 (yellow/black wire), 8 (brown/blue wire), 10 (blue/black wire). Did you splice wires?
3) Can you tell me which wires you connected to each pin?
3) Pin 1 - which wire did you attached from original xenon? Is it wire 1, yellow/white?
4) Pin 2 - which wire did you attached from original xenon? Is it wire 2, green/brown?
5) Pin 8 - do you know what this is for? Cornering lamp?
