Hi All,
This is a bit of a naughty post from me, apologies in advance...

I had to rush off so make full admissions that I haven't yet done the basic 1st lot of checks with respect to confirming wiring etc
I did do continuity checks between the steering connector plugs at pins T41/26 and T41/29 to ECU pin T94/45. Have not yet had a chance to check measuring blocks in ECU when cruise stalk buttons are pressed.

Nonetheless I would appreciate any advice from any PQ25 experts (iichel ;) )

So I have helped a friend with his 2014 2HA Amarok install some basic comfort features.
He got a cluster and highline BCM from a Polo, got stalks with cruise again from a Polo and MK6 GTI MFSW.

Steering angle sensor error has been fixed by putting the correct clockspring with integrated steering angle sensor onto the stalks.

The multifunction steering wheel buttons do not work at all. Have checked that the power wire from the the fuse box to steering wheel connector has continuity.
HOWEVER I still have the trip computer stalk installed. So need to remove that and install a regular wiper stalk.

If I press the trip stalk buttons to change MFD data it also changes radio stations....seems like some crossed wires there ;)

I changed ECU byte 5 bit 5 to enable for cruise, but there is no label file for this ECU so I'm unsure if this is valid to enable cruise at the ECU.

The cluster faults are known, I haven't yet corrected the eeprom from original Polo configuration.

It seems like this engine is a bit of a rarity, so I'm having trouble finding the cruise coding for it without a label file.

With byte 5, bit 5 in ECU back to disabled there are no faults in ECU.

So cruise coding in ECU is in fact byte 5 bit 5 same as 6R Polo.
Now my friend doesn't need to take a piece of wood for the throttle to go for a long drive...
