hello all
i hope you are doing well.
im trying to adapt a remote control for this car but there is no channel 01 nor 21
i entered wiki.rosstech on this link "https://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/vw-remote-matching.html"
If the above procedure does not work (neither Channel 01 nor Channel 21 are available), follow this procedure:

Insert a working (old) key in the ignition and turn to the ON position (do not start car).

[Select]

[46 - Cent. Conv.] or [35 - Cent. Locking] (whichever is applicable to the car, as found here)

[Meas. Blocks - 08]

Enter group "003" (may be group "007" in some vehicles)

[Go!]

The value in field 2 shows how many remotes have been matched and in which memory positions (for example, "0001" indicates 1 transmitter in position 1).
and tried the second way, but on this car all basic settings says not available, field 2 says "not oper"
could be something wrong with the 46.central conv. itself, 35 central locking is not installed.

thanks

You can try this procedure, I used to do it and it worked. Turn the ignition on with the key.

Get out of the car, leaving the working key inside.

Lock the car with a new key by turning it in the driver's door lock.

Press any button on the new remote control 1, 2, 3 or 4 times to assign this remote control to 1, 2, 3 or 4 fields in the controller. Do presses at a rate of about 1 per second.

Wait 5 seconds.

Press any button on the new remote control again.

The key coding should be confirmed by an acoustic signal or emergency lights.

Open the car.

Turn the ignition off.

I tried this way but it didn't work
Though there is another remote that works fine on the car but it not showed when I enter 46 control unit because every time I enter adaptation - remote control matching it says channel not available
What might be the problem

That could be a communication error (for any number or reasons) or a faulty module. Please post the Auto-Scan so we can see if everything else is OK in addition to the installed control module details.

It might not hurt to reboot (unplug) the 46 module but please save a scan before doing so.
