2016 Toureag AdBlue Reset

From customer:
"Filled AdBlue with engine running about 2,000km ago. Light never went off"

Cluster shows 550kms left to non-start. Customer says that has remained the same since he filled tank.

I checked adaption channels but could not find SCR Lock reset.
I *thought* I had full AutoScan but only saved this:

PS: No DTCs were stored in Engine PCM.

Somehow I don't think that tank should be filled while the engine is running?

It should have Basic Settings like this:
IDE04567 -- Resetting of SCR tank level detection
IDE04730 -- Reset SCR lock

Please have a look in your Scans sub-folder to see if there isn't a full scan there.

You're correct. Manual says to have engine off. Also a sticker beside AdBlue filler. But customer ignored it

Finally this customer called back and with latest VCDS it did have the option.

Can somebody explain exactly the following and what they do?
IDE04730-Reset SCR Lock (this is what I used and it put out light, however I did not add fluid)

IDE04567-Resetting of SCR tank level detection (I did not do this reset)

In measuring values it indicated full AdBlue tank - but it is not?
Do these tanks have a level sensor or does the DDE 'estimate' based on reset?
What I'm thinking is that I've reset SCR with a half tank and now DDE will overestimate the AdBlue remaining.

Also, I cannot find an option in cluster to show remaining AdBlue distance.

Our 2015 T'reg does not have anything resembling a real DEF tank level sensor or indication. I doubt this 2016 is any different in that respect. Fill it at every oil change an it's all good, but we generally don't go more than 7500 miles between oil changes with it.

I've yet to figure out how the ECU determines that it's close to empty.

My 'guess' is that reset of tank level should be done with full DEF tank.
Reset of SCR lock is just to reset the light?
Check of SCR efficiency I really do not know enough even to guess
