I'm trying to retrofit folding mirrors on a mk6 jetta tdi and have upgraded the BCM to 7H0937090EZ1G (PQ25 MAX3) and utilized a door wiring harnesses from a 2016 Jetta GLI. I obtained door modules 561959701A and 702A and having issues with the door modules actually communicating with the BCM. (errors are intermittent/loss of communications with door module. When I do a Gateway Installation check, 42 and 52 are not there. However, I can go into chassis, and actually connect to 42 and 52 just fine. I configured them for the car, everything works, EXCEPT: I get intermittent communication errors between BCM and door control modules. Power door lock buttons do not lock and unlock the car and the driver door trunk door does not open the trunk. If I select lock/unlock on the center rear control, It locks/unlocks doors just fine, including the front ones. I've read somewhere that whether I have canbus or UDS modules is important. I'm wondering if this is why its not working? If I need to do a dump, let me know. I'm guess its a compatability issue? If this isn't going to work, then are there other options? If the BCM is the isue, could i go to a XXX-937-088F which is a standalone BCM w/o CANBUS, and used a newer can bus module? Any help thrown my way would be greatly appreciated.
