Adapting instrumenr cluster

Hello!

In a few posts i have mentioning that i ordered a new instrument cluster, and that was just put in and the car started. Lucky for me since the seller didnt send the pin for instrument cluster.

Sooo, my immo is "deleted" or removed or something from a tuner. But immo lights are flashing..

Even if the immo is "deleted" can i adapt the cluster to the ecu so i can get rid of the blinking immo light?

It will be very difficult for anyone to provide meaningful answers here without knowing what kind of car this is. ;)

Of course there is always the low-tech approach too.

OK, this car is nominally Immo-2, but with "Immo-3 ready" cluster. I don't think there is much that can be done here without the PIN code for the cluster.

Keys would need to be matched to the cluster to make the immo light stop flashing, and it looks like the cluster has problems talking to the key at all: 01176 - Key -- Signal too Low.

This is also puzzling: 01177 - Engine Control Unit -- No Communications

Could the fault codes be because of an immo defeat/delete? Since i can drive the car normally, and it starts normally?
It was just to plug the cluster in and it started.

How can i match the key? Do i need pin?

Had to swap the old cluster since it was wrong for the car, and had to jump the k and w wire.

If there is some good how to's to match keys i would appriciate it.

This was on the old cluster, the one that i changed. It was broken and not original for the car so all warning lamps was glowing.

Now i got another used cluster, so i removed the jumper from k and w wire.
