If will only fail if there is a communication error. Have you enabled PLA 3 in the engine module?
The PLA work perfectly the only thing it's that it's not visible into the Virtualcockpit it's only visible into the mmi
For make it visible into the Virtualcockpit I need to put this Virtual cockpit into one A3 that comes from origine with PLA 3.0 and Virtualcockpit

One more try with the virtual cockpit coding, there were some other things missing as well like stopping distance reduction, lane maintenance assist bap etc.

PLA is not visible on the MMI it’s direction and messages are only shown on the VC
Big LOL after more search the PLA 3.0 have never afiched into the Virtual cockpit A3 8V
It have been afiched into the classic cluster a3 before 2017 but not anymore after 2017 and obviously not in Virtualcockpit

I have tried end this it's not afiched in the Virtualcockpit
I have asked to the seller and it said the a3 facelift have never afiched the PLA into the dashboard, only the previous version have this filunctio, but the previous version off a3 don't have the Virtualcockpit in options

You need to obtain a scan in that case of that car. It would likely be the case that there could be a parameterisation issue.
