Hi,
Since I went to VW to have them to reprogram my keys, I am not able to use VCDS anbnymore. Autoscan detect nothing and selecting interfsces ends up in error.

I tried regular thing like, disconnect, reconnect, reboot cpmputer, update computer, reonnect...

When I test usb connection it says it's OK. But I do not get any diag.

Plug it in, and tell us exactly what you get when you do [Options] -> [Test].

Looks mostly OK. Not sure if that car has VIgn on Pin 1 like newer ones do.

Is the ignition on?

Yes. In fact, I tried on, off and start. It uses to work... So that's weird.

Blown fuse so there is no Vign on the OBD connector?
If he's talking about the 2005 Touareg in his signature, there's an excellent possibility it doesn't supply VIgn from the factory. I don't have one here to test. However, I can tell you Phaetons of that era don't supply VIgn, and there's a great deal of design and parts cross-pollination between the Phaeton and Touareg of that era. The instrument cluster with diagnostic gateway (very relevant here!), the KESSY, the CCM, and a few other ancillary systems are basically identical.

The OP's test results seem otherwise legitimate. I'd like to see the interface tried on another car, to break the problem domain in half: is the problem with the laptop/interface, or with the car?

In addition a missing VIgn wound't cause a failure to connect.

On cars that have it, it's a common sign that the user hasn't turned his ignition on, but in this case, I think that's been ruled out.
