Good day, would it be possible to retrofit/activate this function to a 2011 Transporter 4Motion with DSG and ESP, I see the new T6 California 4Motion has that as standard

I think this is uncharted territory as I've never heard of it before. As with all retrofits anything is physically possible but it depends on the time and cost!

If you have a T6 than it is only coding and wiering the Cable for the Button.

If you have a T5.2 Probably Yes, but it is a bit more Work.

You will need the ABS Unit from the T6, it is a different one.
T5.2 uses MK25 T6 uses MK100

And from my tests on the bench you too will need the Airbag Controle Modle from the T6.
Those two are are chatting over CAN, my Theory is that the ABS uses Airbag Crash Sensor data for "Multicollision Breaking"
In my bench setup with a T5.2 Airbag, both are complaining about wrong Can Messages from each other.
I will test with T6 Airbag.

I can confirm that
- T6 ABS is working together with T5.2 ECU EDC17CP20 for CFCA Engine
- T6 ABS is working together with T5.2 Dashboard
- No Component Protection is involved
- No SWAP is involved
