Hello,

The OEM part number for the DQ200 - 7 speed transmission oil is: "G 052 512 A2" (1 liter)

Seems there are product information sheets from various lubricant manufactures that state the 'suitable' gear oil is a "GL-4 SAE 75W-80 oil"

I personally would use a fully synthetic SAE 75W-80 oil, but that is just me.

Hope this helps,

drpeter

Hello ,I think this 7 speed dsg uses two different fluids, one for mechatronics, and another for gear unit,I wonder which one he's asking, anyway didn't VW change the type used on mechatronics after mass failures in hotter climates???

the gearbox side takes 1.7l not synthetic ,was changed (tpi) reason being it had reason to interfere with the megetronics ,drain and fill 1.7l sae 80w90 mineral oil.

The transmission box uses the 75W90, does anyone know what is the specification of the mechatronic?

Really, how can this happen and yet this oil cannot come into contact with mechatronics???,it only lubricates the gear, otherwise it would mix with the pentosin green oil for mechatronics and cause contamination, I've dismantled this tranny and I can say categorically that the mechatronics is sealed and it isn't possible, and please share the TPI so that it opens our eyes!
