Audi A3 8V 2013 swap central electronic MID for HIGH

is there any way to copy via VCDS or VAG CAN PRO adaption settings from old MID unit to HIGH ?

I have to swap unit due heated seats.
But nothing about lights work now :-/ In this new High units was installed Xenon Headlights and I have only halogen.

You can run Adaptation function control module maps with VCDS, and I would do that with the factory original and then the newly retrofitted one for comparison, and that results in files like this:

VCDS cannot upload all Adp settings from a module map into a module. You would have to do that manually.

VCDS cannot upload parameters or resolve CP DTCs so that MQB BCM retrofit will require additional tools. If you need more specific answers please post the Adp map and Auto-Scan before any modifications in addition to the same info after the new BCM is installed so someone with experience can comment.

Pepino (what an gorgeous name!): Hi. In addition to Dana's excellent advice, a tad more additional information might be useful for the retrofit mentioned above - because how the Leuchte-sets in your new BCM should be programmed is dependent on how the new Xenon fittings were installed. Did you run any additional wires back to the new BCM for the Xenon units, or did you use a cross wiring loom on the 10 x pin existing halogen connector?

I did not retrofit Xenon light, there is an original Halogen. I am on business trip now, so i cant post scan.
But there are lot of errors about lights not working high beam etc.

Pepino: Your BCM Compare file is HERE

Some explanations follow:

1. There are a total of 2,026 x Adaptation Channels in the New BCM
2. There are 1,789 Adaptation Channels in the Old BCM
3. The New BCM has 259 x Adaptation Channels that aren't present in the Old BCM
4. The Old BCM has 22 x Adaptation channels that aren't in the New BCM
5. In the "Pepino BCM compare" worksheet, I've used the New BCM as a reference source. Please note that this worksheet makes a literal comparison of settings - if ANY part of the setting value is different between the 2 x BCM s, the comparison "Same?" will return a negative result. In some channels, the setting differences are purely cosmetic, but the "Same?" value will still be No in these instances. The second worksheet are those channels that are present in the Old BCM, but are not present in the New BCM (the new channels in the New BCM are embedded in the BCM Compare worksheet)
