Hello. Laurits From denmark.

I have tried retrofitting the Cruise control to my Caddy. I replaced J527 with PN: 1K0-953-549 BG. And installed new slipring with number 1K0-959-659-C.
After fit my G85 does not respond to steering inputs. (dosnt respond in Degrees).
I tried doing the basic settings without luck.
Is there something i am missing?

After doing the steering angle calibration correctly i had data. Until you start the calibration theres no data in data pid.

Well, did you look at and amend the coding if your new J527? It is looking for the steering wheel buttons while this vehicle doesn't have them? Also this J527 may have come from a vehicle which didn't have G85 mounted to the J527, thus it being coded out.

As a side note. You have RCD310 and the CAN gateway has the oldest software version. This is known to cause battery drain when the vehicle is locked.

Swapped the gateway. Redid the installation list and Coded to not coded instead of PQ35/45. Seems to work.

I already had the gateway laying around because i thought it was needed for CCS.

I finished the steering calibration latter cause i was not able to drive car because of sleeping baby.
All errors except radio antenna, but dosnt have dual antenna Cable.
