Hello everybody! I have a '14 Passat TDI ComfortLine that I couldn't reset the service from the MFI so I bought a VCDS. Now that I reset that, I'm thinking about some tweaks. Of course, I will post the auto scan, where I have some issues, maybe you guys can help me out in order to read them properly.
The mirror turn signal, I will replace it once I will find one, since they are hard to get in the local scrapyard, and aliexpress does not have any dynamic blinkers for my NMS. I did upgrade the radio to an RCD330 from LemonShark so I can benefit from the CarPlay feature. No issues so far, sound-wise I would say it's even better than the stock genuine one. It's even coded for reverse (tries to turn on the camera when I put it in reverse, even though I didn't install a camera yet. I have it in my garage...maybe one day.
As for the tweaks, I'm looking at a couple of them:
-Service Reset - Done successfully
- Needle Sweep - Done successfully
- Passenger Mirror dipping while in reverse ( I went Cent. Elec -> Coding -> Long coding helper -> Byte 4 -> Bit 3 Mirror lowering with reverse rear -> Exit helper -> Do It! -> Start the car, nothing happens when in reverse, even though the mirror knob is on R)
- Windows up from remote
- Windows up / Sunroof closing rain sensor
I am open to more tweaks since I feel the sky is the limit with VCDS.
