Hi all.I have problem with skoda oktawia 10 reg 1.9 tdi with hot start. Tried everything swapped over pump injectors from donor car, swapped tandem pump, fuel pump in tank, fuel filter unit, starter, battery, changed map with increased starting fuel dose, changed coolant temp sensor,checked for air bubbels in fuel supply and return pipe between fuel filter and tandem pump all ok, there's no fault at all.when cold starting without problems when hot is starting up straight away but won't go over 500 rpm even accelerator pedal pressed fully down and then cuts out. When disconnected coolant temp sensor starts fine but when ignition is switched on for more than few seconds same thing happens because when temp sensor is disconnected the engine ecu is getting signal from fuel temp and using it as coolant temperature. I got info from skoda technician and he told me if car starts ok with coolant temp sensor disconnected there is problem with engine ecu software and software update may sort this issue. When you say changed map.........did you alter the MPC Flash with a modified file?

Problem is you don't even specify the current firmware version in your post.

Hi.
I did reflash engine ECU with modified file with increased starting dose.Will attach tomorrow a full diag.log and you should see then the current ecu software version.Thanks

Sorry I don't have the auto scan before update but can still reflash ecu with original map if that suits you and then post it.
