Not to derail (pun intended) Don's thread, but i have two choo-choo questions:

1) Are all of the mainlines and spurs standard gauge (4' 8.5")?

2) Does Network Rail ever sell surplus/removed signals...with or without towers?

1) Yes. (or 1435mm as the P-Way like to refer to it)

2) No.
