MMI screen went black

I don't see any faults that would affect the function of the MMI. U1111 you had prior to replacement of the unit. It would seem as if the unit is not talking with heads up displays and acc radar sensors possibly. Was this vehicle is a accident or any sort recently?

What is U1111?
I didn't have a heads-up display and my car was not in an accident. Maybe these faults are "left over" from the car from which this unit was removed?

Anyway, I'm not concerned about that or the acc at this point, only getting bluetooth, rear view camera, phone, navigation and Car Play working. Any advice on these?

Hard to say. I would assume if you were at the dealer they tried to perform SVM configuration of the module and additional procedure or just flat out told you no?

I see the log from the independent and the dealer both were unsuccessful. Due to Error ERP0237E. This error means you have the wrong or incorrect part number installed. It will not let ODIS adapt this part number for some reason, however because this number matches your original or close to the original it would be wise to try to erase and reinstall the activations. Even though you do not have this code stored It would be good to know what the activations are on this unit and if there an issue. Please take a look at this TSB that applies as per vin. Note this if just for information gathering so we know what activations are in the unit to see what could be done if anything other than sourcing the correct unit.

Please post screenshot of what is shown if possible. I have dealer access because I pay an annual fee to have such access. This access is not available to the general public. Valid credentials must be submitted to AoA or VoA or any other VW AG brands. This way user is documented and vetted and can be held accountable for their actions. Unless your a workshop that's willing to spend at least 3-5grand a year on access per brand this access is simply not for you or not financially viable for you. I suspect perhaps because this is a newer vehicle that the module is locked by vin. I'm almost certain ODIS will pull activations for the unit by vin stored in the unit or from another source. It depends who did it and which test plan they ran. From what I can see the test plan from the TSB was not run. There is no way to get the keys with VCDS, but there is a way to patch the unit possibly to make and enable those changes. In terms of TSB's that audi specific and audi does not make them publically accessable. I would start with this to get the software version to us first then we can try to proceed if you want to try and get it done yourself. Hi Euro - sorry for the delay getting back to you. Yes, I very much appreciate your assistance on this. I'm happy to to it myself and like learning new things. I ran the Export in the Engineering Menu and got two files - ude_aus.enc 7KB, and WMPInfo.xml 1KB. Does this sound right? What's the best way to get these files to you? I don't see an Attachment option on this site.

Regarding Activation Codes, I have none - see screen shot on my previous post. Engineering Menu > Current Version: MHI2Q_US_AUG22_P5087 and MU Software: 1316. Awaiting your reply.

@Uwe why can't we roll this into the MMI blank thread the OP has open. This is related to that, after performing MIB patch on the unit he installed. LVDS signal fault is either a bad connection at the unit, software related or perhaps camera is incompatible with the unit installed depending on what the donor unit came out of in terms of model year and so on.
