Hi
I have both VCP and VCDS and there is a significant difference between the two in the way MQB platform support is implemented.
With VCP, only one adaptation can be changed at a time, and the controller is reset (rebooted) in between each one. There is also a manual reset of a controller function available.
It appears that on the MQB platform some changes require the controller (especially 09 and 5F) to be reset (rebooted) so that the changes take effect correctly. The only other option is leaving the car for a long period of time.
Could a similar function be implemented in VCDS of a manual controller reset (reboot)??
