10 Vin limit?

Hi guys, just got my HEX-NET the other day and searched for this question but couldn't find the answer. I know the personal edition only allows use on 10 different vins but if you use it over USB with the standard VCDS software on a laptop, do those vins count?

Yes, the 10 vin limit will also apply to the PC software.

Dang, I was hoping when connecting via USB it would act just like a HEX-CAN cable and not go through the vin verification.
